At BabyJacks we aim to maintain a standard of service which we would wish to receive when we ourselves are customers. This is reflected in our terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before making your purchase.
These are the terms and conditions of our agreement and apply to all purchases of goods by you from BabyJacks via our web site and from our shop, and you should read them carefully. These terms may vary from time to time and you should check them before making new purchases. The terms and conditions stated on this page govern all transactions, between BabyJacks and its customers, effected on or after 11 May 2005 until superseded by revisions posted here. Any contract between BabyJacks and its customers shall be governed by English law and all correspondence shall be conducted in the English language.
FREE DELIVERY TO ALL UK POSTCODES ON ALL ORDERS.
Small/lightweight lower value items/orders up to approximately 1 kilo will normally be sent by Royal Mail Post. All other orders will be sent by FedEx Next Day Service or Parcelforce 24/48 Hour Service.
Deliveries to Overseas addresses will incur a shipping charge which must be paid by the customer. This will be shown at Checkout when placing your order.
Orders will normally be sent by a signed for/insured sevice. Overseas orders will only be sent at the discretion of BabyJacks, and only to Countries listed in the address dropdown box. The cost of any local taxes must be met by the customer.
On receipt of your order, you will receive a confirmation email, showing the total cost of your order.
We will contact you if there is any anticipated delay with the dispatch of your order.
When ordering items, please advise us of any special delivery instructions.
When ordering heavy items please note delivery is to the door of the premises and not to a specified room.
Whilst every care is taken to ensure accuracy descriptions and specifications are subject to change without notice. In the event that such changes occur we will advise you of this when confirming your order and offer you the option to withdraw your order or to select an alternative product. Prices quoted on confirmation of your order will be honoured regardless of subsequent price movement before dispatch.
We aim to fulfil orders from stock within two working days. Orders may be shipped directly by ourselves or by third party warehouses who hold stock on our behalf. Larger items may be drop shipped directly to customers from one of our third party suppliers.
In the event that we are unable to fulfil your order within the normal delivery period, we will contact you as soon as this is known and offer you the option to withdraw your order, or to select an alternative product. Should an item be unavailable, we will contact you as soon as this is known and in these circumstances we reserve the right to cancel the order.
Should a customer not respond to any communication from us within one month, the order will automatically be cancelled and any payment recieved by us will be refunded, less any administration charges incurred.
BabyJacks will at our discretion dispatch part orders. However, where an item is on extended delivery and this would result in undue delay to the dispatch of the complete order, we will at no extra cost to you, forward a part order.
Should you not receive your order within your expected timescale please contact us. In the event of a non delivery, exhaustive enquiries have to be made with our delivery agents, and it can take upto two weeks for the item to be replaced, or a refund given.
You have the right to cancel your order, but this right ends 7 days after the date we receive your order. Any amounts you have paid will be repaid to you, within 2 working days, but we reserve the right to withhold any credit/debit card and PayPal charges incurred by BabyJacks.
However we may have dispatched (we aim to dispatch orders witin 2 working days) or delivered the goods you have ordered. In this circumstance, you may return the goods to us at your own expense. Any goods returned to us must be unused and in its original saleable condition and in its original packaging. Any amounts you have paid will be repaid to you, except our shipping costs, within 2 working days of receiving the goods back, but we reserve the right to withhold any credit/debit card and PayPal charges incurred by BabyJacks.
If you wish to withdraw or cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible on 01562 825028 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org, and obtain a cancellation reference number.
If you are unhappy with the contents of your order on receipt, please contact us as soon as possible to allow us the opportunity to resolve the problem.
All goods must be inspected by you upon receipt and any damage in transit or shortages must be notified to BabyJacks within 24 hours of receipt. Claims for damage in transit or shortages may not be considered after this period.
If goods have been damaged in transit, we will agree with you how to return the goods and offer you the choice of a replacement or refund at no extra cost to you. In circumstances where the packaging is clearly damaged on arrival, it would be helpful to us in resolving any problem if, when signing to accept delivery, you could write 'Box damaged' on the delivery record.
Where goods are found to be faulty on receipt, we will agree with you how to return the goods and offer you the choice of a replacement or refund at no extra cost to you.
If you receive your order in good condition but you consider any item to be unsuitable, you may return it for a refund (with the exception of goods stated below) provided that you do so within 14 days of receipt and the item is returned unused and in its original saleable condition and in its original packaging. In these circumstances you will be responsible for meeting the full cost of the carriage to you, and the return carriage. We reserve the right to retain part of any payment made by Customers for any item not which are not returned in the original saleable condition and packaging. IMPORTANT We regret that we cannot offer returns or refunds on nappy products unless faulty.
